Despite housing crisis, activity remains relatively stable.
According to information reported by Ohio Realtor, regarding sales in the Ohio area, Zanesville is down approximately 10% in units sold January-October 2008 from last year same time. The average sales price is also down approximately 5% at $101,655 for the same time period this year compared to last. Only one area, Mansfield, has reported increased units sold from last year to this year with a 2.4% growth. Hardest hit appears to be Lancaster area at 27% decrease in sales growth. Statewide the report shows we are overall down 13.3% in units sold and down 7.4% average sales price which is @ $140,000.
