...And by old I'm talking about historical.  Living in a particular place all your life, you tend to forget or take for granted the things you once learned about the history of your home.  I definitely have forgotten, but recent new clients have begun to wake up memories of history lessons learned and opening up some new ones about Zanesville past.  What a rich with history place we live.  Most interesting to me are the historical homes and areas.  First settlement being in the Woodlawn area.  Imagine, if you can, nothing else around.  You can actually study some of the early homes from a distance, say from across the river,  and can see some were built specifically to view the river from a high point in the house, or was it for someone navigating the river to see their home on approach.  Maybe both.   Much has been written about some of the homes while others have been neglected and torn down.  More to come.
